Ohio Hills Health Services is pleased to welcome Kaitlin Miller as a Physician Assistant to the Monroe Family Health Center. Kaitlin is a resident of Woodsfield and is a familiar face to many. Prior to her employment she completed several internships at Ohio Hills Health Services.

“We are delighted to have Kaitlin join the OHHS team,” said Jeff Britton, CEO, OHHS. “Kaitlin is bright, hardworking and outgoing. She will put her patients at ease immediately and will be an asset to our organization.”

Kaitlin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Sport Science from Ohio University and then went on to obtain a Master of Science Degree as a Physician Assistant from Marietta College.

“I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field and that I wanted to work in my home community. It is important to me to be able to give back to my community,” said Kaitlin. “I understand the impact a healthcare provider can have on an individual’s life and I am extremely pleased to be working at the Monroe Family Health Center.”

A physician assistant is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with or under the supervision of a physician. Physician Assistants are trained under the medical model, similarly to physicians, to deliver high-quality medical care in both primary and secondary care settings. Physician assistants are integral members of the health care team in many hospitals and clinical practices.

Kaitlin is looking forward to getting to know her patients and spending time with them. As a Physician Assistant Kaitlin will treat the whole patient, but specific areas of interest include exercise physiology, orthopedics and skin cancer. For additional information or to schedule an appointment with Kaitlin Miller or any of our healthcare providers please call 740-239-OHHS.
