Ohio Hills Health Centers is pleased to welcome Joginder Kaur, MS, Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian to OHHC-Barnesville. Joginder has over thirty years of clinical experience and is ready to provide medical nutrition therapy to individuals with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, renal disease, malnutrition, obesity, gastrointestinal disorders, or those requiring healthy eating guidelines.

“Joginder is a tremendous addition to our OHHC team. Dietitians support people to improve their health by providing expert nutrition and dietary advice,” said Dr. Himalaya Patcha, Medical Director, OHHC. “I have worked with Joginder for more than twenty-five years. She will actively work with our medical providers and patients to promote health, prevent disease, and to shape the dietary choices of our patients.”

A dietitian completes a thorough nutritional assessment of a patient to provide a personalized nutrition treatment plan and offers in-depth counseling to help individuals make lifestyle changes to better manage their health. There isn’t one meal plan that fits everyone. A registered dietitian is trained to evaluate a patient’s health status, diet, and medical history. Quick fixes or fad diet plans do not work and can even be harmful. A dietitian can help a patient develop a sustainable lifelong plan.

“I am excited to be a part of OHHC. Eating right is often easier said than done and yet it can have a significant impact on an individual’s health,” said Joginder Kaur, MS, Registered Dietitian.  “I am here to guide and educate our patients to make good dietary choices. I look forward to working with area residents to promote good nutrition and good health.”

Joginder will be seeing patients at OHHC-Barnesville. A provider referral is needed; however, you do not need to be a patient at OHHC to receive Medical Nutrition Therapy. Please call OHHC, 740-239-6447 to schedule your appointment.
